CONTEST — Pick The Best Sign

Posted February 28th, 2007 | View Comments

Our agents have been busy over the last few weeks taking lots of new listings, and as a result, we really need to be ordering more signs soon. Since we never really decided on a design format for our real estate signs, I propose we have a contest over the next twenty-four hours or thereabouts. I’ll randomly select someone for a Starbucks gift card from everyone who votes on one of the signs below. (To vote, scroll down to the bottom of this post and leave a comment). To see a larger picture of any of these, click on the sign. [Signs 4 and 5 were last minute entries].

Ok, I’m not a graphic artist or anything, so this might be a “least of three evils” sort of deal, but play anyway!

Tell your friends. This is the biggest media event since Brittany Spears went into rehab.

    I prefer #1
    #2 looks like Citgo
    #3 Confusing energy

Yes, I kind of thought #2 looked like Citgo, too. Good point. Thanks for being the first to play.

  • CARISSA ARTERO

I like sign two because it catches your eye very easily!

    Thanks, Carissa!

I like 1 too. I don’t think you need the word ‘call’ on it, but it does not bother me if it stays. Do you put the agents’ name on the signs?

  • http://www.sacramento-home.com/mortgage-companies/LindaSpafford.php Linda Spafford

One looks classy, two does catch my eye, for me 1 is 1st 3 is 2nd 2 i don’t care for. When do i get my starbucks card?

I think #3 is the only sign to allow an agent enough room to throw up their picture and name, but I like design #1 the best. Agents can always get riders.

Thanks everyone. I have a last minute entry… stay tuned.

sign two. . . i’ll get some riders if you want

Like I said, I have picked flowers but never signs. Since you are such charming and wonderful person I thought I would stop by and read your signs. I really like number one because it is plain and clean and easy to read. If I were driving down the street I think i could even find the phone number quickly and call it. The rest have too much going on. The eye is drawn to the red color and distracted before the logo or phone number are seen.

#1, but lose the Realtor symbol and MLS thingy. I suspect the public doesn’t care. Or at least separate them into the bottom corners of the sign.

  • http://www.hismove.com/blog Justin Smith – CREN

    who won?

  • http://www.sacramento-home.com/real-estate-agents/ John Lockwood

I posted that in a later post. It was Linda Spafford of Stamford Mortgage.

  • http://www.escapesomewhere.com/ Austin Real Estate Land

Yeah number 1 is by far the best.
