Since 2002, we’ve been helping buyers and sellers to realize their dreams by providing them with current, accurate, and useful information. In 2003 we launched this web site, which included Sacramento’s very first real estate blog and a set of easy to use, registration-free search tools.
Since that time, the market has changed dramatically, with many sellers struggling to make their payments and often facing foreclosure, and buyers sometimes unable to take advantage of opportunities like short sales of foreclosures due to tightening lending standards. But the fundamentals of our business have not changed, and are more important today than ever:
Does the fact that we’re not twisting arms and brow-beating our clients to make a move mean we’ve missed out on some opportunities? Probably. But if you’ve ever had a first time buyer bake you cookies and cry because she was so happy when she moved into the condo you helped her own, you’d understand why we do business the way we do.
In 2002 and 2003, some of our colleagues thought we were crazy to just give all this information away. Nowadays, it’s commonplace, and many of these “authorities” have closed up shop for good.
