Roseville Real Estate and Community Information
Overview
Located just north of Sacramento, Placer County's largest city, Roseville has
attracted some of Placer County's major employers, including NEC Electronics,
Hewlett Packard, and Oracle. This solid employer base has helped Roseville lead
Placer County's enormous growth in the 1990s. Roseville is also a leader in
auto sales and in several service industries such as health care.
Roseville is also home to one of the largest and first adult communities in
California. The 1200 acre Sun City Roseville consists of 3100 single family
homes built around 27 holes of Golf.
Things To Do
Roseville is home to the "area's largest Flea Market" (look out, Galt!), Denio's
Auction, and two major theaters featuring 28 big screens of entertainment.
Roseville is also the home of a skating rink, Skatetown
-- be sure to visit their site to sign up to win free skating lessons. Those of
you who like me just want to shop til you drop will want to visit Roseville's
1.1 million square foot Galleria Mall. In summers, Performing Arts of Roseville sponsors a free
Music in the Park concert series at Royers Park. Roseville is just minutes away
from the Auburn State Recreation Center, and along Interstate 80, the Road to
Reno!
