Sacramento Trap Shooting Club

My wife, Kathy, occasionally lets me enter a things to do entry in her web log as a guest author, so I feel it's almost incumbent upon me when that happens to mention some sort of "guy" activity that Kathy wouldn't do on a bet...

No, I'm not talking about spitting on the sidewalk or driving around lost and refusing to ask for directions.

What I have in mind as a fun "guy" activity is to briefly discuss my favorite place to blast clay pigeons into smithereens (well, they blast into smithereens when I don't miss them, in any case).  And that favorite place is the Sacramento Trap Shooting Club.  Actually I should say it used to be my favorite place -- in the last few months I've been so busy between work and what-have-you that I've been letting those nasty clay pigeons multiply without personally getting out there to try to thin out their ever-growing numbers.

The Sacramento Trap Shooting Club has reasonable rates for members and non-members, great prices on shells, and a friendly, congenial atmosphere.  There are even periodic Women's Clinics, where we try to share with the fair sex the joy of annihilating flying pottery.  And honest-to-goodness women show up for those clinics, too, though my wife never does.

I take with the good with the bad, though -- she doesn't spit, and she's great at asking directions.
