Things to Do, or the Way We Were

Well, some time ago, my wife, Kathy, and I realized that we weren't keeping up with the things to do web log very well.  (That's a euphemism for "hopelessly out of date".)

For those of you who clicked through in all innocence hoping to find a great resource, sorry to disappoint -- we're a little behind the times.   What we'll be doing going forward is setting up some hopefully useful static links that will give you an idea of the resources for things to do in the area.

Cheers!

Apple Hill

Well, we made it up to Apple Hill Yesterday, or should I say, "I" made it up there.  John Lockwood here, sitting in for Kathy, who does things.  I occasionally do, too, witness our trip to Apple Hill.

Apple Hill features shopping and eating and going for a walk with the dog all in one convenient area.  That's at least half of life's basic pleasures right there.

For more about Apple Hill, check out our Camino Real Estate Page.

Apple Hill

Speaking of our new Camino Real Estate page, before it gets to be Christmas, don't forget to visit Apple Hill for a great day in the country for the entire family.  I'm hungry just thinking about it!

These are some tips on having a happy and safe Halloween.

Our Halloween Mascot

John, our web site guy, is hereby incarnated for the entire month of October in the form of the gourd with a related first name, to wit, "Jacko", here pictured at right.

Rumors to the effect that this festive image constitutes John's natural year-round alter-ego -- buried just beneath the surface of his gentle public persona -- are so patently...well, good heavens, I don't even want to dignify them with further comment.

Agents, please, let's be extra careful about who we let into our cars this month.  Remember:  check your rear view -- if your buyers have a shirt but no head sticking out from the collar area, this is a red flag.  Such buyers can be redirected to the nearest funereal establishment and instructed to call us, not driven around in your car.

That unseemly business last year about letting zombies (and ghouls and other forms of undesirables, or at least, undead) bid on houses will NOT be tolerated this year.  I mean really, we want the business, but puh-lease!

September 17-20, 2003 at Arco Arena
Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus

I haven't been to the circus too many times -- probably once as an adult and once as a kid.  Maybe that's why the times I went I really enjoyed it.  I should try to get out there again.  If you can make it, so should you -- it's a blast!

We're talking about the real circus, of course.  Much as we like to say the Davis recall is a circus, it doesn't compare.  It's fun for grown-ups, but too expensive for most of us and not such a treat for the kids.
